Meet JENIFER VELOSO

A little over ten years ago, Jen first learned about yoga and its benefits for both mental and physical health. In 2020, she found her way to Samadhi and began a dedicated physical and spiritual yoga practice. Over time, yoga became more than a personal tool—it became a way for her to support and care for others.

As an emergency room nurse, Jen has brought yogic breathing and mindfulness techniques to the bedside, supporting patients through moments of fear and discomfort. She has also used these practices while caring for patients receiving ketamine infusion therapy for PTSD. Jen is deeply grateful to have shared yoga with her family in Brazil, and the practice now weaves through every aspect of her life.

In 2023, Jen completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Denise at Samadhi. While she does take her DJ skills and playlists seriously, her true focus as a teacher is helping students build the courage to meet sensations and emotions as they arise in the body. Through her classes, students learn that poses and feelings are temporary, but the breath is always present—offering steady support, care, and a pathway through healing, one breath at a time.
