Levi began practicing yoga in 2017 as a way to support himself through anxiety and depression. Over time, through breath and mindful movement, he discovered that real and lasting change was possible. It was in learning to slow down, breathe, and feel into his body that his relationship with himself began to shift.
If you’ve had the chance to practice alongside Levi or take one of his classes, you’ve likely felt his genuine love for yoga. He walked through the doors of Samadhi two years ago and quickly found a home there, cherishing every moment of his time in the space. Levi is deeply passionate about his practice and brings that same enthusiasm and presence to each class he teaches or attends. For him, yoga is an opportunity to live in movement, connect with breath, find center, and gently move through what the body carries each day.
Levi completed his 200-hour YTT with Marlo Ziegler at Chela Yoga in 2020 and another 200-hour YTT with Denise Alike at Samadhi Yoga Center in 2024. He is grateful to be part of this community and excited to see how it continues to grow so he can share his experiences with others.
Above all, Levi believes it is important that everyone feels a sense of belonging when they walk into class—especially those who feel like they don’t. He has been there himself and knows how powerful it is to feel seen and welcomed. To Levi, belonging and self-worth are always worth the effort, and he believes the work happening at Rooted Lotus will be truly life-changing.
